President Michel Suleiman received on Friday a phone call from his French counterpart Francois Hollande, during which they discussed the importance of national dialogue “in maintaining Lebanese domestic stability.”
The two leaders tackled Suleiman’s call for resuming all-party talks on June 11.
Hollande noted that “this assembly will contribute to maintaining Lebanon’s internal stability,” according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency.
The two presidents also tackled the implications of the Syrian events on Lebanon, as well as France’s participation in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
