Report: KSA playing stabilizing role in Lebanon, Iran open to it
Iran has become more open and positive towards the Saudi role in Lebanon, viewing it as a stabilizing factor, diplomatic sources told Al-Jadeed TV.
While noting expectations of a Saudi initiative following today's Washington meeting between Lebanon and Israel, the sources revealed that the Saudi special envoy to Lebanon intensified communication with Ain el-Tineh in recent days and has served as a guarantee for internal calm.
