Free Patriotic Movement chief Jebran Bassil has said that “we are all threatened today because of Israel.”
“We are all asking the same question: whether there will be a war or not,” Bassil added during a tour of the Akkar district, stressing that the FPM is “against any policy that brings war.”
“It is true that we are working to prevent a war on Lebanon, but this does not mean surrender, and whether war breaks out or not, Lebanon will emerge victorious, even if it pays a hefty cost,” Bassil went on to say.
“When Israel decides to attack us, we will certainly stand by each other against the foreigner,” the FPM chief added.
Domestically, Bassil said “rejecting the principle of dialogue among each is other is unacceptable.”
“No matter how much people differ in politics, they can still communicate,” the FPM chief added.
