Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari on Wednesday traveled to the Saudi capital Riyadh, Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported.
Lebanese newspapers said that Bukhari will join a Riyadh meeting between Saudi minister Nizar al-Aloula and French Special Presidential Envoy for Lebanon Jean-Yves Le Drian.
Lebanon’s al-Markazia news agency said Bukhari left Beirut “in a hurry” after he was “summoned” to the kingdom, canceling all his appointments.
