An armed clash broke out Friday afternoon near the Child And Mother Welfare Hospital and the al-Qassar Mosque in Beirut’s Aisha Bakkar, the state-run National News Agency reported.
NNA said the clash erupted between owners of neighborhood power generators in the area following a similar clash that took place two days ago.
The clash left two people wounded according to the agency.
Witnesses in the nearby Verdun area told Naharnet that they heard heavy gunfire during the incident.
