US Embassy voices optimism over Hochstein's visit to Lebanon
The U.S. Embassy in Beirut on Friday voiced optimism over the visit that U.S. mediator Amos Hochstein made to the country earlier in the day.
“We were happy to support Special Envoy and Coordinator Hochstein’s visit to Lebanon today. We echo his optimism,” the Embassy said in a tweet.
“The United States is committed to helping forge an agreement for the people of Lebanon,” the Embassy added.
