The Lebanese army staged raids on Thursday in the border towns of al-Qasr and Fiysan in the Hermel district and arrested two fugitives wanted on several arrest warrants, the National News Agency reported.
The raids were carried out at dawn, NNA added.
The army arrested W.G. who is wanted on financial crimes, theft and smuggling, and another man wanted on charges of opening gunfire and battling the army it added.
In the Syrian refugees encampments in the area, the army arrested 14 undocumented Syrians and confiscated four vehicles and a number of violating motorcycles.
