An Islamic State group militant has admitted to videotaping the slaughter of servicemen taken captive from the northeastern border town of Arsal last August, the state-run National News Agency reported on Tuesday.
Abdul Rahman al-Bazerbashi, 21, also known as Hafid al-Baghdadi, told Military Examining Magistrate Imad al-Zein that he has videotaped the killing of servicemen Ali al-Sayyed and Abbas Medlej, said NNA.
The jihadist also admitted to murdering a soldier and tossing grenades at churches in the northern city of Tripoli, the agency stated.
The army arrested al-Bazerbashi in Ain al-Shaab between the towns of al-Labweh and Arsal in May.
Al-Sayyed and Medlej and two other servicemen were executed by IS and al-Qaida-linked al-Nusra Front militants last year.
They were taken captive along with several other soldiers and policemen when the fighters overran Arsal.
