A Lebanese, who was kidnapped in Mozambique in southeast Africa, was released on Wednesday a day after his abduction.
Foreign Minister Jebran Bassil announced via Twitter that the man was released without the payment of a ransom.
Mohammed Ali Ahmed, who hails from the southern town of Hariss in Bint Jbeil, was abducted by a gang in Mozambique on Tuesday night.
The Lebanese charge d'affaires in Maputo Ara Khjatorian followed up on the case to ensure the safe release of Ahmed.
