According to the website Schmoesknow, the French actress who starred in "Blue Is the Warmest Color" could join the cast of the 24th James Bond movie.
The entertainment news specialist cites "a very trusted source on the project" who declares that Léa Seydoux is the production's top pick for the female lead. While there are no details yet on the role, earlier rumors point to the secret agent Miranda Frost, previously portrayed by Rosamund Pike in "Die Another Day."
For now, we know that Daniel Craig will once again play the British spy in "James Bond 24," reteaming with fellow "Skyfall" cast members Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris. The latter actress is the latest incarnation of Miss Moneypenny. After directing the 23rd movie, Sam Mendes will return to the director's chair for the next installment in the franchise.
Initially slated to begin filming in October, the feature will now enter production in December due to the decision to re-write parts of John Logan's screenplay.
The film is due for release in the US on November 6, 2015.
