Al-Mustaqbal movement leader former Prime Minister Saad Hariri held talks on Wednesday with Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Field Marshal Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
According to a statement issued by Hariri's press office, the two officials discussed the latest developments in the region.
He also held talks with Arab League chief Nabil al-Arabi and later Egypt's constituent assembly Chairman Amr Moussa.
Hariri arrived in Cairo on Tuesday night at the head of a delegation for talks with senior Egyptian officials .
The delegation comprised of MPs Samir al-Jisr and Jamal al-Jarrah, former MPs Bassem al-Sabaa and Ghattas Khoury, his advisor Dr. Radwan al-Sayyed and Nader Hariri, his press office said.
During this two-day visit, Hariri will meet with senior Egyptian officials, including interim president Adly Mansour and Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy, the statement said.
