Two goals in each half helped Lebanon beat Bangladesh 4-0 in the first leg of their World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
Hassan Maatouk opened the scoring in the 16th minute and then Mahmoud El Ali found the net 11 minutes later.
Lebanon extended its lead 10 minutes into the second half through defender Ali Al Saadi, who was part of the Safa SC side that finished runner-up in the 2008 AFC Cup. Tarek El Ali scored the home side's fourth in the 64th.
The return leg will be in Bangladesh on Thursday.
