President Michel Suleiman is preparing to call the Lebanese foes for a national dialogue session to highlight the challenges of the upcoming stage, local newspapers reported on Tuesday.
Suleiman tackled the matter during a meeting for the national dialogue committee at the Baabda Palace on Monday.
Suleiman discussed the possibility of the resumption of all-party talks and the timing of the session.
Informed sources told al-Joumhouria newspaper that Suleiman will call for a national dialogue session when the conditions are appropriate and in light of his contacts with the foes.
The sources pointed out that Suleiman didn't take a final decision over the matter.
Suleiman discussed with the members of the committee the recent political and security developments in accordance with the Baabda Declaration that calls for disassociating Lebanon from regional conflicts.
However, sources told An Nahar daily that all-party talks would resume after the formation of the new cabinet.
The last dialogue session was held on September 20, 2012.
